Hello, we are Nick & Monica Williams. We became foster parents in 2019 and had the opportunity to share our home with some beautiful and sweet kiddos. During this time, we were blessed with meeting the children’s families and sharing some wonderful times with them.
During the COVID outbreak, we decided to take a break from fostering and spent some time reflecting on our experiences. We were so thankful for all of the support we received from the city and the many charitable organizations in our community, but we realized that we had not heard of any organizations established specifically for helping the parents of children in foster care reunify with their families.
After some research and discussions with local professionals, we realized that there are no organizations in our area even though there is a tremendous need for this type of assistance. That was all it took to convince us that we needed to do something to help families in our community reunite and prepare them to stay together forever … HOPE was born.
